Hey y’all! I hope you’ve had a wonderful start to the school year and that your week has been filled with excitement and new beginnings. Every Sunday, I love sharing six things that stood out to me from the week, and this one was no exception! Let’s dive into what made this week special.

A Hidden Gem in Buffalo, TX
Have you ever heard of Buffalo, TX? It’s a small town on I-45, and this weekend, we stopped at the cutest boutique, Davis Country Store. You would NEVER know it from the outside, but it’s a treasure trove! The boys got a few things, and I found the cutest shoes in Caldwell orange. If you ever find yourself driving through Buffalo, you must stop by! And...if Buffalo is not in your future (wink) they have a website so make sure to take a look. I also found a few of the items we bought on Amazon, too! I put them below.

Project Graduation Planning
I’m going to chair Project Graduation for Caden's senior class this year....whoa nelly, I am nervous! I haven’t done anything with Pro Grad since 1998, so I’m a little rusty. If you have any ideas, suggestions, or recommendations, please let me know. Luckily, Caden has an amazing class and great parents, so I know it will be a success. But if you have any tips or tricks, I’d love to hear them!
Best Walmart Dress Find
I found the BEST dress at Walmart! It’s the prettiest olive color, but it also comes in white, black, and burgundy. This dress is perfect for church, work, teaching—pretty much anything—and the quality is fabulous. If you need a new dress, definitely check it out before they sell out!
Fall Planning
Even though it’s only mid-August, stores already have Christmas stuff out, and fall items will be gone before we know it! If you want to preplan your fall porches, I have a post with ideas for you. Plus, I found some great items for fall and Halloween decor from Amazon in case you are needing a few things.
Friday Night Lights
The boys had a football scrimmage this past Thursday, and we cheered on the Hornets at their first volleyball tournament this weekend. Gyms and fields are about to make their way into our schedules every week, and I couldn’t be more excited! There’s nothing like cheering on the Hornets under those Friday Night Lights, and I’m counting down the days until we’re rooting for the Aggies too! The start of fall is always such an exciting time of the year!

Sweet Magnolias and a New Read
I started watching Season 3 of Sweet Magnolias on Netflix, and y’all, it’s the cutest show! It always makes me want to be better just watching it. I highly recommend if you are looking for a feel good show to watch. I’m also about to dive into a new book from Colleen Hoover; however, I’m always looking for new series or books as an escape. If you have any suggestions, let me know—remember, sharing is caring!
Okay, friend that is this week's wrap up. I hope your week has been just as exciting and full of new discoveries as mine! Let me know if you have any Pro Grad tips, and don’t forget to check out that dress before it’s gone. Have a great Sunday!
Blessings,
amber :)
