Strawberry Bread Recipe

Sundays are perfect baking days. In the afternoon turn on some good music, bake one of your favorite recipes, and while the sweet treat is in the oven you can prep for the next week. When all the chores are done, you have a little reward for yourself and can put your feet up!

Well...I don't know if that's always how it works...but in all seriousness, for some reason when I bake I do clean the house while it's in the oven. Do you do the same thing?

Here is one of my all-time favorite recipes for either breakfast or a treat. You can turn this bread into muffins, mini muffins, or just loaves of bread. I usually make mini muffins when we are on road trips. They stay fresh for most of the trip. Let's get started!

Strawberry Bread Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups of all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

2 containers of frozen strawberries (23.2 oz each)

2 tablespoons of strawberry extract

3 eggs

2 cups of sugar

1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions

1. Prehead the oven to 350 degrees.

2. These are the strawberries I use, and I use 2 containers. I put the strawberries in a colander and let them drain while I'm working on the dry ingredients.

2. Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl and set aside.

6. Once all your wet ingredients are mixed, put the mixer on slow and add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.

5. Then get your sweet kiddo to help you add the remainder of the wet ingredients and mix.

6. Once all your wet ingredients are mixed, put the mixer on slow and add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Then remove the bowl and scrape the sides.

7. You can make two small loaves (what I did here) or you can make one large loaf.

8. Bake the bread for 50 minutes and begin checking. Depending on the oven, it will be between 50 and 60 minutes. You can check with a toothpick.

Also, our cheese boards are not just for cheese!! We used our initial cheese board to serve this delicious strawberry bread! You can find this board at our Etsy shop. The link is below.

Happy Sunday Friend,
