Hey Moms...Need a Few Lunch Ideas for Your Kiddos?

Are you like me? I have a kiddo that will not eat in the lunchroom. Unfortunately, that means I have the lovely privilege of making lunches every...single...day. Lucky me!!!

Honestly, I really don't mind making lunches, but I do struggle with not making the same lunch each day. I want to make sure Coop loves his lunches and gets healthy food too. So if you are homeschooling or sending your kiddos to school, I hope this post gives you a few ideas to help your kiddos with great lunches they will love and enjoy!

Let's get started!

Lunch #1

Pasta Salad, Bananas, Grapes, Apples, and Almonds

Pasta Salad Recipe:

  1. Cook garden pasta noodles for about 7 to 8 mins.

  2. Mix cooked garden noodles, with cubed mild cheddar, cubed ham steak, diced red peppers, and sliced cherry tomatoes.

  3. Once mixed, pour as much as you like Zesty Italian Dressing over the noodles.

I keep this in the fridge for about 3 to 4 days. You can add a little dressing if the noodles get dry. This is one of the boys' favorite lunches.

Lunch #2

Jerky, Yellow Peppers, Cherry Tomatoes, Carrots, Ranch Dip, Crackers, Cubed Cheddar Cheese, and Chocolate Covered Pretzels

I use these plastic cups to put ranch dip and peanut butter in for lunches. They are such a great help to keep food organized.

Lunch #3

Popcorn, Apples, Peanut Butter, Pecans, Strawberries, and Blueberries.

Lunch #4

Ham and Cheese Tortilla Rollups, Yellow Peppers, Red Peppers, Carrots, Ranch Dip, Oranges, and Pecans

Lunch #5

Cheese Quesadillas, Trail Mix, Strawberries, and Blueberries

Lunch #6

Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, Goldfish, Strawberries, and Blueberries

Lunch #7

Turkey Slices, Cheddar Cheese Blocks, Crackers, Cucumbers, Cherry Tomatoes, Ranch Dip, and Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Lunch #8

You can never go wrong with a good turkey and cheese sandwich, chips, cookies, and yummy gummies.

I love these foldable lunch boxes for my kiddos. However, if your kiddos have to throw away everything in their lunch kits (due to COVID), these meal prep trays from Amazon are great. They are also reusable if you don't want to throw them away. The black trays are great for stacking in the fridge if you want to do make-ahead lunches.
