Easter Dessert Ideas

Instead of one dessert....why not make three! Today we are sharing an Easter twist to everyday treats for your kiddos, and well adults too!

These recipes are so easy and will make all your sweet bunnies happy at home.

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup of Butter

1 Cup of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter

1 Tsp of Vanilla

1 and 1/2 Cups of Powdered Sugar

9 Cups of Rice Chex Mix

1 to 1 and 1/2 Cups of Easter Colored M&Ms

Directions:

Melt butter, chocolate and peanut butter together. I suggest doing this 30 seconds at a time, mixing in between.

Once your mixture is melted, add vanilla and mix.

Next add 9 cups of Chex mix and mix together.

**IMPORTANT** To make your life easier and not make this a complete mess...use a 2 to 2.5 gallon sized ziplock bag.

Put the powder sugar in the bag. Then add the chocolate covered Chex mix. Close the bag and flip over several times until the Chex mix is completely coated.

Put your Muddy Buddies in a bowl and mix in the pastel M&Ms.

Easter Muddy Buddies completed! :)

Ingredients:

1 Block of Cream Cheese (at room temperature)

1 Can of Sweetened Condensed Milk (yep...this recipe is low fat! ha!)

1 5oz. Box of Instant Chocolate Pudding

Whole Milk

1 Container of Cool Whip

Oreos

Peanut Butter Egg M&Ms

Directions:

First make instant chocolate pudding according to the directions and put in the fridge to chill.

While your pudding is setting, combine cream cheese and condensed milk until smooth in a mixer.

Then fold in (very softly) the chocolate pudding. Once combined, fold in (very softly) the cool whip.

Next up Oreos (however many you like) in a ziplock and crush.

Now you have to make a decision. It's your choice to...use one big container or individual cups. Whatever makes you happy at the time.

Then layer Oreos, pudding mixture, Oreos, pudding mixer, and finally Oreos on top.

Finally decorate with Easter peanut butter eggs on the top and ta da....Easter eggs in dirt is done!

Well...this one can't be any easier!

Just swap out regular marshmallows for peeps to give a fun twist to a family favorite. BUT...eat them quickly. If you let the s'mores sit, the sugar from the peeps will make it too crunchy.

We hope these desserts get you and your family in the Easter spirit!

If you make any of these treats, please DM us a picture @theoldrivernest. We would love to share on stories.

Have a sweet day friend,

Amber & Brooke :)
