Y'all we are so excited spring has sprung, and it's time to start decorating for Easter. When it comes to seasonal decorating, don't put pressure on yourself! Decorating should be enjoyable, simple, and most importantly, not complicated. The whole idea of holiday decor is to get you in the spirit, not to stress you out.
Today we provide nine easy inspiration ideas to get you in the cheerful Easter spirit without breaking the bank or being over the top. Best of all, you can use these ideas from year to year!
9 Simple Ways to Add Easter Decor to Your Home
Pillows
Whether it's an Easter pillow or just a floral pillow, adding spring pillows can quickly give your home a fresh look in just minutes.
Quick tip: Head to HomeGoods! We have found that HomeGoods offers many seasonal pillows for very low prices.
Spring Flowers
It's your choice of flowers, whether to go faux or real, but either one will help give a quick Easter feel to your home. Also, you don't have to go over the top with your flowers either. A simple natural arrangement in a mason jar is the perfect choice for spring.
Pastel Towels
Add a pastel or Easter towel in your kitchen or powder room. The fresh color will put you and your family in a joyful spirit.
Wreaths
You can either purchase Easter wreaths or make one of your own. I made these wreaths for my front door with just a few items I bought from Joann's. Easter wreaths are a quick way to spruce up your porch for the season.
If you don't want to make a wreath, Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods, and Kirkland's all have great options.
Easter Flag
Just like wreaths, an Easter flag on your front porch is a great way to make your entry come to life. You can either chose an Easter flag or just a generic spring flag.
Home Depot and Lowe's usually have great options for minimum cost.
Easter Candy
When we were growing up, our neighbor always had bowls of seasonal candy. Let's say we loved visiting Bernice. To bring back our childhood and give our kids happy memories, we do the same in our homes. We have a small bowl of candy on our coffee table for a quick treat for the kiddos.
Colorful Eggs
Fresh eggs, especially the colorful ones, are a simple yet beautiful way to bring the Easter spirit into your home.
We think placed in a bowl is a lovely way to display them.
An Easter Tree
Did you know that the Easter egg tree tradition is centuries old? We had no idea! Its origins are unknown, but it's thought that the eggs are a long-held symbol of life.
With Easter trees you have many options! You can either purchase one or make one yourself using branches and eggs.
